Learner, Northwestern University
“I have an auditory processing disorder, so it's hard to hear what the professor is saying in class. With captions, I can understand so much more of what they're saying.”

“I like the addition of the automatic captions! This feature has to be my favorite because it makes the app more accessible, and also allows for me to have time to catch up on notes because I have the last 2-3 sentences there.”

“I have difficulty focusing and hearing, so it's nice to be able to read along with the lecture.”
How does Live Captions work
- While recording a class or lecture, Live Captions provide a live transcript of spoken content. Captions will appear a couple of lines at a time, and will disappear as new audio is recorded.
- Live Captions are now available in 32 languages, so your students can access captions when class is delivered in English, Spanish, German, and many other languages.
- After class, you can still transcribe your whole class in the same way you do now.
