Research Accreditation Hub
At Genio we’re constantly looking for better, faster, and more innovative ways to empower learners who are prevented from achieving more.
Our roots in assistive technology run deep, and the true equity that smart yet simple EdTech can achieve for those facing barriers in their learning remains at the core of our mission.

We also know how important it is for educators to be able to rely on, and trust in, the technology they’re using as part of the learning process.
This is why we’re working with external research partners to verify our impact independently, to clearly demonstrate our commitment to ensuring each and every learner has equal access to education.
Digital Promise: Research Based Design

Dr. Pati Ruiz, Senior Director of Edtech and Emerging Technologies at Digital Promise

Early positive results
As part of our commitment to demonstrating our impact, we have been working with What Worked Education.
What Worked Education are industry experts in supporting EdTech products to evaluate their impact, enabling education institutions to make informed decisions.

Rachel Schechter, Ph.D. (LXD Research Founder) said:

"On average, students' GPAs improved over the course of the semester. The mean GPA at the start of the semester was 3.32, which increased to 3.47 by the end, representing an average change of 0.16 points or a 4.79% improvement."

"Notably, 66% of the students either improved their GPA or maintained their existing grade point average during the semester."

"The tool appears to have a significant impact on students' confidence and skills, with 86% reporting increased confidence and 80% noting improved study skills."
