Presenting feels impossible for some people

Presentations are a normal part of student life - but for students with neuro differences, disabilities, and other barriers, they can be a source of extreme stress and a barrier to success.

From difficulty remembering key points to managing focus, timing, or audience pressure - the experience often creates more fear than growth.

Existing support often focuses on live delivery, but they don’t help students build confidence before they present. That leaves many just trying to "get through it" - rather than developing the skills and self-belief they need to succeed.
A sneak peak at the future of Genio
Genio Present is currently only available via the DSA in the UK, however here’s an overview of how it will support students with presentations and spoken assessment.

Record yourself presenting - with slides, audio and video - and review as often as needed to build confidence in private.
Reflect after each session to spot what’s working and what to improve.
From pacing to confidence, choose your focus areas and see how you’re progressing over time.
Share recordings with tutors, mentors, or colleagues for specific input, or receive supportive AI feedback tailored to your rehearsal.

Genio Present
"I think that most people become anxious when presenting to others as they have not been able to practice properly, and no matter how much you prepare, you have never fully carried out the presentation, or allowed others to see it."
