AI and the Future of Higher Education: Are You Prepared?
92% of undergraduates are using AI tools. What can we do to ensure AI has a positive impact on learning and skills development?
9th July 2025, 12:00PM (US Eastern Time)

The emergence of AI, particularly large language models (LLMs) and machine learning-driven tools, has reshaped what it means to teach and to learn.
A recent HEPI survey found that 92% of undergraduates are using AI, and while 76% of institutions say they could spot AI in assessments, only 36% of students are being supported to develop AI skills.
The question isn’t whether this change is coming - it’s whether students, educators, and institutions are ready for it. Are we prepared to evolve not just our tools, but our understanding of meaningful learning in an AI-powered world?
Join us on this webinar where Josh Nesbitt, our CTO, takes us on a deep dive into how we can all play a part in shaping the future of AI for meaningful, equitable (fair?) learning.
Some of the topics covered will include:
- Productive vs unproductive friction in learning
- Augmenting vs replacing learning
- AI usage vs preparedness
- Developing skills for future success
