We are committed to supporting all our customers and end users

We constantly strive to improve our products and services. Accessibility is at the heart of our designs and decisions; we consider the many ways that people can use and interact with our software and websites.

At Genio we take the following measures to ensure accessibility of our products and services:

  • Include accessibility in our internal policies.
  • Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.
  • Use formal accessibility quality assurance methods.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Genio’s products and services are fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Level AA.

Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act sets requirements for accessibility of electronic and information technology developed, procured, maintained, or used by US federal agencies. It aims to ensure that federal technology is accessible to people with disabilities.

Genio's products and services are not required to conform to Section 508 as we are not a US federal agency. However, we utilise Section 508 as guidance to make our products more accessible to users with disabilities.

In April 2026 we achieved full WCAG AA conformance, our progress can be seen on our 2025 remediation plan. We are committed to keeping our full AA conformance across all Genio products.

Limitations and alternatives

While we use our best efforts to ensure the accessibility of our products and services, we are always learning and looking for improvements. Our ACR (Accessibility Conformance Report) at the bottom of this page outlines our conformance, however feel free to reach out if you feel any of the experience could be improved.

User generated content and content embedded from external sources are not under our control and may not be fully accessible. Ensure the content you upload into the platform is accessible for the best experience.

Please reach out to us at support@genio.co if you spot an issue that isn't listed there.

Assessment approach

We assessed the accessibility of our products and services using the following approaches:

  • Self-evaluation.
  • External evaluation with Level Access.
  • In-house accessibility specialists who work with our design and development teams.

Evaluation report

We have completed ACR's demonstrating conformance for both our web applications. We are working with Level Access on the conformance of our new mobile app, and will update this documentation as soon as possible.
