Navigating AI in Higher Education 2026: Live Panel
AI isn't slowing down and neither are the questions it's raising for disability services teams. As the fall semester approaches, we're bringing together a panel from across higher education to talk about how they're navigating it all.
22nd July 2026, 12:00PM (US Eastern Time)
AI is moving fast and for disability services professionals, it's raising questions about student support, academic integrity, equity, and what it all means for the work you do every day.
We're bringing together 3 professionals from College of the Canyons, Louisiana State University and University of Denver for an open conversation on how they're approaching AI heading into the new academic year.
During the discussion, we hope to:
- Hear how disability services teams are integrating AI tools into their practice, what's working and what's not
- Explore the equity questions AI raises for students with disabilities
- Surface the ethical and policy considerations that disability offices are dealing with right now
- Talk about how teams are preparing students to use AI effectively and responsibly heading into fall 2026
- Consider the role disability professionals can play in shaping how their institutions approach AI
And more, let's see where the conversation takes us!
