About the role
The Studio is a small team that turns what we're learning about education, technology and learning differences into ideas and media that reach far beyond our products: written, video, social and other formats, for learners, educators and the wider industry.
You'll take ideas that often begin messy or half-formed and help turn them into clear, compelling work, from Substack essays and keynote narratives to video scripts and presentations. This is first and foremost a writing and editorial role, but you'll also think beyond the page: how an idea changes when it's spoken, filmed, visualised or adapted. In our deliberately AI-assisted environment, you'll design and own the workflows that extend what the team can produce.
What you'll do
- Drive CEO thought leadership. Turn the CEO's thinking into excellent finished content across formats, including Substack essays, social posts and video scripts
- Own the content pipeline. Lead the Studio's work from concept to finished piece, keeping a forward schedule that keeps production ahead of publishing
- Write the scripts and hold the final pen. Write and own final scripts for all Studio video, and act as final copyeditor across thought leadership, learner guides and everything in between
- Design AI-assisted workflows. Build and keep refining structured processes that increase output without compromising quality
- Run Studio operations. Coordinate weekly scheduling, meetings and deadlines so the Studio delivers consistently without day-to-day management from the CEO.
Who you'll work with
You'll work most closely with our CEO, the Learner and Community Lead, and our Content and Community Executive. It's a team that pushes each other hard and enjoys it. If that sounds energising rather than exhausting, you'll fit right in.
About you
- An exceptional writer and editor with a distinctive voice, comfortable moving from long-form essays to short social posts and genuinely adapting each piece to its audience and format
- A scriptwriter who thinks visually. You structure ideas for video so they hold attention and sound natural spoken aloud, and you know when a visual, demonstration or metaphor says it better than words
- Fluent in modern media. You understand how social, video and creator-led formats shape attention, enough to make strong calls on format, length and angle
- A strong researcher with narrative instinct who can go deep on complex topics and find the story in raw material
- Already using AI in your work, with real opinions on where it helps, where it doesn't and where the risks are
- At home at pace. You can set direction without a playbook and enjoy a team, CEO included, who'll challenge your thinking
- Organised and zero-to-one minded, comfortable building editorial processes from scratch.
