Genio isn’t only for learners! If you’re a faculty member who has recently come across Genio, let us show you how you can use it in your own work, and make communicating with students easier and faster.
If you’re concerned about missing important details, but want to remain present in your meetings, use Quick Notes to add placeholders, marking down important points without looking at your laptop.
You can refine these placeholders at a later date, when you’ve had time to listen back to the audio.
Need to share meeting notes? Use Reading View to download a copy to share with the team - or you can select send a copy to send the event directly to your colleagues.

From adding events to different collections to keep similar meetings together, to adding tasks at the end of each event so you know what to do for the next meeting, there are lots of opportunities to use Genio Notes to stay organised!
Shared Collections can be a great tool for sharing information with your students.
If you have a recording to share with your class, or if you want to share your slides prior to a lecture, import them to an event and add it to a shared collection that your entire class can all access.
Simply add these to an event, put it in your shared collection, and your students can find out what they need to read for your classes.
Please note: You must have access to Genio Admin to set up a shared collection. If you do not have an admin account, please ask an administrator to set up a Shared Collection for you.
