Make data driven decisions with Admin Insights
Discover the new Admin Insights for better decision making and improved student support through detailed utilization and engagement metrics.

In the current education landscape, it is more important than ever to understand the impact and reach of tools that support students.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce Admin Insights - a new feature in Genio Admin that highlights your overall utilization and key student usage figures, allowing you to make more informed decisions and easily share information with colleagues.
These insights will help you understand at a glance whether you’re at risk of running out of licenses or need to conduct more awareness activities.
What are Admin Insights?
Admin Insights are accessed from a new tab in Genio Admin.
These insights provide admins with a clear, 180-day overview of license utilization and student engagement with recorded and viewed events, enabling them to easily assess Genio Notes' impact and inform potential awareness initiatives.
The new insights dashboard displays license utilization as a percentage, the total number of events recorded, and the total number of events viewed by your students. The image below shows an example of what this dashboard will look like.
A key benefit is the ability to generate a PDF summary of these metrics in just a couple of clicks, enabling easy sharing with stakeholders to inform decisions around student support initiatives. For example, high utilization can support a case for more licenses, while low usage may indicate the need for additional outreach efforts.
What are the benefits of more detailed insights?
Admin Insights enable institutions to better understand how widely students are using Genio Notes and the impact it's having on their learning. It provides the essential data needed to make informed decisions about ongoing Genio Notes initiatives and student support efforts.
This means that intervention can be implemented early to ensure students remain engaged, and make the most out of their Genio Notes.
Trends can be picked up easily, for example, if many students create events but the number of events recorded is much lower, you can provide resources or workshops to enable students to successfully record classes.
