Empowering neurodivergent brains with Genio
Tracey Valliere Evans has been a freelance Assistive Technology Trainer since 2017, working with a diverse range of individuals, including DSA students and professionals from various industries, such as social work, law enforcement, and psychiatry. She has witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of Genio Notes on her diverse clientele.
For many, the moment they see Genio Notes' transcription feature is truly a "wow moment". It's a common reaction from her clients, especially those in the workplace who graduated before Genio was around: "Why did I not have Glean when I was a student?"
"People get overwhelmed. They see all this text information. There's a lot of information. It's just coming at you. Coming at you."
That's because many struggle with creating their own structure from extensive lecture content:
"Some people, they struggle to create their structure and to break things down into, into various compartments or compartmentalise, all that text from the lecture."
This feature facilitates the understanding and processing of information more easily for neurodivergent individuals.
Tracey's experience underscores Genio Notes' role as a vital tool that genuinely transforms how her clients engage with and understand information, reducing overwhelm and enhancing their ability to learn effectively.
