Genio (formerly Glean) meets ESSA level 4 criteria
As an organization driven by our mission to make learning quicker and easier for everyone, Genio is always searching for avenues to prove our impact. In collaboration with LXD Research, we've been able to start that journey.
Over the past few months, Genio have been working closely with LXD Research, a data driven organization who measure the impact of technology on learning environments.
Their research allows companies like Genio to provide evidence of student growth when engaging with our technology.
Following extensive collaboration and investigation, Genio are pleased to announce that we have been formally acknowledged for meeting the educational impact criteria of the ESSA Level 4 framework.
Rachel Schechter, Ph.D., Founder of LXD Research, noted that...
“This recognition is based on Genio's proven effectiveness in enhancing grade-level learning outcomes.”
Genio's mission is to make learning quicker and easier for everyone. Being able to evidence our impact is only the first step on our journey to demonstrating how Genio can enhance learning experiences for students across the globe.
“Genio, an innovative online note-taking system, aims to address these limitations by incorporating features that actively engage students with the lecture content.”
The report’s findings are particularly aligned with our fundamental CORA process. This framework underpins our approach to supporting learners, and influences any future product development to ensure Genio only ever enhances, rather than replaces, the learning process.
Over the next few months, we’ll continue working with external partners to verify our impact independently, clearly demonstrating our commitment to ensuring each and every learner has equal access to education.
