At Genio, we've learned that despite the countless valuable resources available to college students, effectively acquiring the skills needed for better learning and developing successful independent learning habits can be challenging.
That's why we've launched our Student Ambassador Program.
Genio's Student Ambassador Program is not just about individual success. It's about creating a community of students who help surface useful resources, ensure developing new study habits is interesting, and make navigating academic goals an empowering experience.
Today, we want to introduce you to Beki, one of the founding members in our Student Ambassador Program...
Hi, I am Rebekah (or Beki).
I am currently studying for a BA in Politics and International Relations.
I found out about Genio Notes through the DSA (Disabled Students Allowance).
Genio Notes, to me, is a useful tool for note taking, especially in fast-paced lectures. It allows for your notes to be compiled in one localised area which makes studying easier!

I like Genio Notes because I get very overwhelmed in lectures, and it reassures me that I will not miss anything due to my Autism and Anxiety.
It makes me feel like I have more of a chance to process information rather than trying to keep up with my lecturers. It allows me to love my education again!!
Due to my Autism, I process information in a different way. Genio Notes allows me to break down the lectures by slide and have my attention drawn to one thing at a time rather than being completely overwhelmed.
It relieves pressure and stress, especially during those lectures where it can get a bit more overwhelming.
