Genio (formerly Glean) Student Ambassadors: Tatiana
Meet Tatiana, one of our first Genio Student Ambassadors. Here Tatiana shares more about her learning journey and how she uses Genio Notes in higher education.
The Genio's Student Ambassador Program is not just about individual success. It's about creating a community of students who help surface useful resources, ensure developing new study habits is interesting, and make navigating academic goals an empowering experience.
Today, we want to introduce you to Tatiana, one of the founding members in our Student Ambassador Program, and share with you how she uses Genio Notes for better learning!
Hi! I’m Tatiana, a final year History student in London.
I found out about Genio Notes through my DSA (Disabled Student’s Allowance) assessment, where my assessor and I talked through my health issues and what they could provide to support me.
For me, Genio Notes revolutionises studying. Being able to record audio, annotate it in real time, adding slides and writing notes all into one file makes things so easy.
I can go into my class, whether it’s a lecture or a seminar, and rather than having endless screens open on my laptop, just have Genio Notes, and then my source material up.

I absolutely love Genio Notes due to its ability to record my lectures and seminars, and then transcribe the recordings.
When my brain fog flares up, having the recording and transcription allows me to remember anything my teachers may have said that wasn’t on our slides.
Being able to put my slides into the document as well, and annotate them all in one program makes life much easier.
I became an ambassador to help spread awareness of Genio Notes to more people, in particular those of us with health issues. I had no idea anything like Genio Notes even existed until my DSA appointment in second year.
Had I known about it during my A Levels, it would have made my life so much easier!
